- It's been awhile since I saw this one, but it's one of my favorites. I love comic book heroes depicted on the big screen. This is a great sequel. I didn't want this movie to end. I liked comic books when I was a kid growing up. This was a good movie all the way around. You didn't get lost when it showed Bruce Wayne growing up. It jumped around, but it kept you interested. It kept you focused on the movie. The action scenes were unbelievable. The cinematography was unbelievable. The special effects were perfect. Not many -- that's another good thing. They didn't go overboard with special effects. Batman was a DC character. For people who aren't really into comic books, there is Marvel and there's DC. Batman didn't have mutant abilities. This is really why I liked the movie, too. He didn't need super powers or whatever to break the walls. He was kind of a regular guy. He puts everything into his suit, the Batmobile and gadgets. I recommend it to everyone. It's a great movie. If you haven't rented it, rent it. Buy it! It's a keeper."
I belonged to a film club, and at a different time in college took a job where my only duties were to watch movies and keep an eye on the door. That being said, i have no idea what cinematography means...
What I really love about this review is the sense of obligation. I am imagining professional baseball player Emil Brown being asked by noted Mickey Mouse organization (and defending world series champion) Kansas City Royals, to review another movie today, and Emil decided to review a movie he probably saw in theaters at least a year ago(Batman Begins was released in 2005). Grate stuff all around.
This hastily made & clearly not-fresh review was included in "part 1" of the 3 part 'Emil Brown reviews movies' series; calling the entire concept into question. Why did Kansas City brass force journeyman outfielder Emil Brown to do this??
